GUNSTINGY STRATOS: THE BUDGET

Don't get me wrong, Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation is a great ani- ha, still can't say that with a straight face for one of the most riff-able series this season. For a few brief episodes a little over half way in, there was hope, but the last few episodes have been so utterly, hilariously poor in virtually every aspect (aside the OST, which could be worse) that I really, really doubt the finale's going to be anything other than a highly entertaining wreck. Episode 11 was one of the most so-awful-it's-awesome episodes of any series I've ever seen.
Surprisingly enough, I actually don't hate the main pairing, as generic as their romance is, I admit I almost liked it. Until that hilariously awful kiss scene. To quote the ANN review: "...they end up sharing the most awkward kiss in anime history, hands down. Dead, open eyes? Check. Fish lips? Double check. No music to make it less uncomfortable for the viewer? You guessed it."
